Karaganda «Bolashaq» Higher College has been training specialists since 2000. The college offers vocational and post-secondary educational programs. In 2018, it was granted the status of a higher college.

In recent years, the college has averaged about 2,000 students annually.
Facilities and Partnerships
The college houses competence centers in mobile robotics and app development. It actively participates in the WorldSkills movement. It has strong facilities, modern teaching technologies, and over 150 partner institutions and companies.
Accreditation and Quality
The college passed state attestation in 2006, 2011, 2016, and 2022, and received institutional and specialized accreditation in 2017–2018. It operates a Quality Management System (QMS) and holds an international compliance certificate (IAF mark, dated 28.12.2023).

Graduate employment within the first year after graduation is between 75–85%
